Colchis
clients never loose data. With backup solutions from Sun Microsystems and security provided by
Westec, clients never
risk loss of data.
Colchis support is provided through contracts with Sun Microsystems
and utilizes Sun's StorEdge L1000 tape backup solution systems for frequent backup of client data. Just another
sign of our commitment to quality.
Backing up hundreds of gigabytes of data frequently is no simple task. Rather than
congest the network with continuous
data transfers for archival purposes, Colchis accesses a separate 100 Megabit network for the express use
of data backup transfers.
An off-site data archive allows Colchis to retrieve data no longer than 1 week old
for all servers in the event of total
destruction of the premises. While the chances are infinitely small, we have covered all of the possibilities to ensure
client data is not at risk. |
